Film Festival Today covers film festival news from around the world, focusing on the latest festival coverage, new film reviews, people in the film industry, and commentary on a wide variety of film-related subjects.
Hi David, FFT looks great, how serendipitous - I spent all of last night researching film festivals. Is the website still active, I don't see any new posts since march of last year?
Thomasz, mówisz Polski ...? Żyłem w Szczecinie podczas 1990 roku...! The interview I did with Academy Award Winner Chris Tashima in the Featured News section was posted just a few days ago, and our Father/Daughter Film Reviews come out monthly...there may be some old stuff on there, but unfortunately I'm not the editor....
Haha, tak tak. Mowie dobrze. :) 1990 was not too bad, all that Solidarity stuff cooled off by then in Szczecin, and everybody was getting accustomed to the post-communistic lifestyle. Ah, yeah, I do see the news on top now. Cool stuff. Even the older stuff has some great advice in it, I'll be sure to link up to that site in the future. I'm always in a habit of clicking on the calendar and events to see what's happening with the website. That's on me. Cheers, T.
Actually, I've noticed it too that some parts of FFT are lagging far behind (since whoever used to do that part no longer does)...what I would suggest is writing the owner, Jeremy Taylor, and let him know that you think that part of the site sucks, and that you could update it for X amount of dollars, then you have a job on FFT as well... Also, some of the work I did in Poland can be seen at: http://www.davidbryantperkins.com/Art.php
Thanks David, Indeed, I might send them an email, although I can't complain about the lack of work. Cool stuff, I see the credits for Mloda Smierc, I might be fluent in Polish, but the title "efekty wideofoniczne" is quite new even to me. Yes. We learn something new each and every day.
I came up with that one, my contribution to Polish culture...I created the music, chose the music, did the filming (the part I love most was the actors on the screen talking with the live actors on stage), as well as some of the animation and "video effects"....
