Introduce Yourself : Paulo de Almada by Paulo de Almada

Hello everybody! My name is Paulo de Almada Mauro. I am originally from Brasil - Rio de Janeiro, I have been living in LA since 2000. I am a visual fx artist but my passion is creative writing and directing. I am just about to finish a short movie I filmed in Brasil called “Uma Noite”. Here is the log line: “One night, a young boy is disturbed from his sleep by a strange light in his small, rural town in Brazil. He soon discovers that he possesses a powerful energy and is confronted by both good and evil.” And I am already starting my new animated short plus I am finishing writing my feature film script related to pioneers of flying in the 1900’s that I will submit to the Nicholl Fellowships competition. I like to have a small project and a big project going on all the time. My other goal this year is to write and produce a comedy web series . I am happy to be part of the Stage 32, such a awesome creative place to belong to. Wishing you all the best.
