Hey, guys, I'm a San Diego-based, past L.A.-based writer now moving into producing and my projects can be seen at the website, www.whereslucyproductions.com. I'm also a non-fiction author and novelist and single mom and all kinds of other crap! Nice to make connections with all of you!

Hi Marie, I love your "Where's Lucy? Productions" website and how it got its name. Lots of interesting topics on your sites as well. I'm sure I will be reading a great deal of them. :-)

Wow! 17 years old. That's amazing! I've had many cats and none have ever lived that long.

I have a son who has a disability and she is totally protective of him. I think she is his animal spirit! :0

That’s interesting, Marie about the animal spirit. I like that idea. :-) And goodness, Jason, you have an exceptional gift with cats to keep several alive that long. About ten years ago, a stray tabby cat showed up in our backyard and had five kittens. So, my three kids and I began taking care of them. Two were striped tabbies, one was a short-haired silver/gray with beautiful white markings, another was a short-haired black cat, and then there was the long-haired jet black Persian that my daughter named Chester. But, Chester did not think he was a cat or a stray. He never acted like the others in regard to playing with string, hissing over food or bowing up in fear, or chasing a rolling ball. Instead, he liked to come inside and stretch out on the sofa and watch the Travel Channel for hours. :-)
