Introduce Yourself : Writer/Producer by Michael Rosch

Writer/Producer

Hey all. I'm new here. I'm in the NYC area. I've written some no budget shorts, and now I'm in the early stages of development on an ambitious Science Fiction webseries. Look forward to meeting people here.

Julian, I recommend finding time to force yourself to get it all down. Or at least figure out which parts of the work most excite you and write those sections first, and go back to the other parts later. Some of my best writing came that way. For instance, the ninth episode script of my webseries, despite being 9 of the 13 episodes, was the last one I wrote. After I wrote episode 7, I took a long hiatus because, even though I'd outlined them, episodes 8 and 9 felt intimidating. I was much more excited to write episodes 10-13. So I wrote those, then went back and finally wrote 8 and then finally 9. Then, after finishing the first draft of episode 9, I was surprised at how well it turned out. Hope that helps.
