Introduce Yourself : Independent Producer with 30 adapted screenplays for sale! by Jeanne Feder

The Benjamin Company (my son, Aussie stepdaughters and I) own 25 truly amazing screenplays written by their Dad (25-year constantly employed Aussie TV/Director, Brian Phillis - winner of multiple Logie awards) who recently passed away. The scripts are based on books and plays (from the 30s, 40s and 50s) where the source material was written by authors whose other work became classic movies and Broadway plays. Many of the source material is in public domain now (we have had options on several we have pitched in the past). We currently are focusing on two scripts - one by an author whose other work was one of the top Hollywood classic movies of all time; the other based on successful Broadway Play that starred a leading Hollywood/Theater Actress. Both can be done for a fairly low budget and can be shot in New England and New York areas. Would love to speak with independent directors, producers and financial folks looking for solid independent feature scripts. Again - we have 25 and Brian developed them all to direct himself but left them to us. We are excited to move forward.
