What's your project in China? Where is your base in the states? What kinds of filmmaking are you interested in? I've gotten into filmmaking with women behind the camera top priority. I'm writer/producer of a short film in post, adapted from my forthcoming women's fiction novel - all about equality. I'm helping produce a feature that shoots this summer - written, directed, produced by women. And a short short I will direct in fall. Fundraising and publicity are ongoing needs....
Hey Madelyn! I am working for Shanghai Disneyland. I am based out of Los Angeles, but I may be moving to Atlanta next. I am most interested in making films that have an emphasis in storytelling, opening the minds of the audience, and introducing new ideas to them. (If that makes sense). I have been studying different environmental topics in the last year and have struck a passion for it. I would love to incorporate that into future content and projects. I love your focus, as well. I think that it's very important. I would love to see your short film. I understand, about the fundraising & publicity. I am studying for a business degree, so that I can better understand how everything works. It sounds like you have quite an exciting year ahead!
