Request for little help

Hi all, I have been a screenwriter for more than a year now and been part of this network (Stage 32) for quite long. Thing is, I think i'm stuck. I took no training for screenwriting, after surfing through the net and i bumped to this Screenwriting Pro software i then began to write and completed a full 120 pages script which was my first. To me Stage 32 have been quite helpful and i learn a lot from the posts on my feeds. After i have completed a script and a log line, how do i find suitable producers to send my work to or what's my next step?

Prince, unless you already know someone it can be difficult. Here are a few resources or ideas. The Hollywood Creative Directory. LA or NY 411 Book, IMDB list Companies. .https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/business-of-film is a free on-line course the Explains the business side of the film industry. Sales agents, producers and etc. Find out who produces in your genre. Find out what they have slated. Find and executive producer at a company who is accepting/looking for screenplays. Stage32 also has pitch sessions. I hope this helps.

Hi Prince. Write another script and keep writing. I haven't read your script so this may seem like a stupid thing to say, but you haven't found your voice yet. What you have created is a lesser version of what you will become. Your first script will do things you think are important, like trying to hit a page number. Just write more. I wouldn't try getting meetings or sell your first work. Enter it in some competitions, get feedback, you'll see where it can improve. If you love the story, rewrite it. Just being finished, doesn't mean you're finished.... If you know what I mean.

Well i actually have some other scripts and projects i'm currently working on. But at this point i'll just consider what you guys advise me to do, "keep writing and my enthusiasm" , "find my voice..." it getting clear. And i find it quite helpful 'cos now i think i know what to do as from now onward. Thanks.

Good luck Prince, I hope you create a masterpiece and you make a ton of money, gain a lot of fame, influence or whatever else your goal is.
