Hi everyone, I just moved to the Burbank area! Previously, I was living in DC and did mostly indie work. There wasn't a lot of representation in DC, but I have heard that most actors have agents in LA, and if that's true, I would appreciate any contacts you may have! Also, any advice would be appreciated! Where is the best place to get casting calls, where can you network and meet others in the entertainment industry, etc etc. Thank you in advance!

Hey Myri! Welcome to Stage and LA! There are a lot of great actor spots to check out in the Burbank area and North Hollywood (NoHo District) The first place that comes to mind is the Actors Key in Burbank on Magnolia Blvd. The team there is amazing. https://www.actorskey.com There a bunch more other places on Magnolia catered toward actors (and a lot of great vintage shops to boot!) Hey, Myri! Congrats on making moves. That takes a lot of courage. When I moved to Denver last year, I started with a Meetup. Seven people attended. One year later, I had over 50 at the four hour event. Meetups work! https://www.stage32.com/meetups
