Hi Pauline My name is Pauline Hetrick. I would like to start off this blog by giving my background as a writer. I started out by accident, when I was thirteen. Writing snippets of stories, daydreams, down on paper at school. The boy I had a crush on noticed what I was doing and asked to read it. I couldn't say yes fast enough. For the next few weeks I had his undivided attention. And I was in heaven. He read everything I had created. That was until a gorgeous, tall, blonde girl with a southern drawl a mile wide smile and legs to match, showed up in class. Gone was the boy and gone my passion to write. There was a long, long, dry spell until my husband brought home a computer like the one he had at the office. A new dream was born. The AT&T computer was the answer to all my typing errors and piles of wadded-up paper on the floor. I had been reading romance for a couple of years and tried my hand at writing. I wrote and wrote. Helped start a local writing group for romance writers. I attended several conferences that were fun as well as educational. Then I was introduced to screenwriting. From the beginning I knew this was the way I wanted to go with my writing.
