Having been to Havana before things (slightly) cleared up for travel, I can tell you the wonderful people who live there were clamoring for a good film festival. The one they have has been on the improve for years. Good to see it on this list.

Always wanted to go to Havana. I wrote a Spanish-American War script that really should be shot there. It could be done on Kauai, but how authentic would that be?
