Just saw Chad Miller's webinar that recommends we ensure that we use distributors that are somehow approved by Netflix if we are interested in getting our film onto Netflix. 1)Can anyone advise me how to check? 2)This may sound naive but is there anyone at netflix who I can write to or call?

John - we are a true AGNOSTIC global aggregator (think Comcast or Frontier) only more open to Premium channel choices for our subscribers with great INDIE content from around the world as the bedrock to our global OTT. While we don't want to get in to the world of "funding" and original programming (which is where we think Netflix lost their neutrality in the industry) we do work with and in some cases provide seed funds to a couple of select development partners we have strategic relationships with who are bringing content exclusively to the AkyumenTV network. Again our model for our INDIEs and premium channel partners is unique to the industry as what we are bringing to the industry is indeed unique and "outside the box". I won't say that in the future we won't proceed down the route of direct funding and development especially is our data analysis shows that many of the INDIE shorts and web series show extensively viewership numbers. To answer another question that has been posed... No, no other competitor 3rd party OTT (netflix, iflix, hulu, etc) will work via our theatrical surround sound projection - however all Microsoft and business SaaS apps including mail apps will work and you can use Miracast which is HDMI over WiFi to your SmartTV and enjoy AkyumenTV.
