What are the type of activities: pitchfests (online / offline), events, meet up groups for example a screenwriter looking to get their work read and viewed could be thinking about for the final few months of the year?

Well, post at Stage32 loglines and at least one writing sample, post your scripts at ScriptRevolution.com, use Twitter to connect with filmmakers, directors, producers and tv executives, use Screenwriting Staffing and all the other websites like SimplyScripts and of course Amazon Studios and Netflix and Pitch Road, Pitch Fest, Happy Writers etc. Further, I simply checked our national tv stations online and if you click a while on their websites you often find a page which tells they are open for scripts for tv series or features. So, when I look at all this and read it again I can only say there actually is no way where you don't find any possibility to send a logline and/or synopsis, introduce yourself and your work. Just do it!
