Howdy Everyone!
2017 has been productive. My children's picture book "Sebastian's Moon" about a boy whose brother passed away and he thinks he went to live on the moon, was released in January. And last week my Halloween kid lit "The Legend of Ms. TuTu LaRue" about a kooky witch who flies on a vacuum was released. So that was exciting!
I've transitioned from writing children's books to writing screenplays, and my first comedy TV show pilot "The Twilight Sparkles" was completed. It's about 3 sassy seniors who are trying to figure out what's next in their lives. It's loosely based off of my eccentric granny (my childhood memoir "In the Land of Misfits" captures how my granny taught me how to cuss when I was 4, and she made moonshine!). I've recently started pitching it to managers/producers, and have gotten some good feedback for it.
I'm definitely excited to see where my writing career goes, and wish everyone much success!
