Screenwriting : Re-emailing a potential manager by Daniel Ranalli

Re-emailing a potential manager

So today I emailed a pilot to a potential manager but realized I left something out. Earlier in the script, I'd set up a small plot-point and left out the payoff, which is also small and inconsequential, at least in the pilot. Nevertheless, leaving out the payoff does make the script slightly confusing.

So my question is: Should I re-email the script in a few days? I'm just worried about looking desperate. I'd just make up some excuse like my email provider's telling me that it didn't send so I'm sending it again.

Thanks in advance.

Don't make up an excuse. If want to resend it just say here is an updated version I intended on sending you. Making up something is lying and that is an agent's job.
