When I embarked on an Epic Feature screenplay, years ago, after being pumped up by Robert Mckee's intensive workshop on Story, one wisecrack, obsessed with metaphors, advised that before attempting brain surgery, perhaps a healer would need to learn how to clean, nurse, and stitch a small wound...
With such sobering advice, I changed gears and wrote modest short films that got the attention of people in film I had given a hand to for their projects. They spontaneously volunteered to give me a hand, if i ever wanted to direct those shorts myself and get first-hand knowledge of the whole process. I managed to download 3 of them on Stage 32 Video feature. If anyone is interested to see how paying forward works, please take a look.
Annie are you saying you downloaded the scripts or the actual short films? Because, I would actually advise you to have a password protected VIMEO link, rather than putting your films online for free viewing. Just my advice. GOD BLESS and Stay Fresh! ;)
Hi Sam, thanks for your interest. I understood this is what we were supposed to do on Stage 32, no? I'm interested in your take, please can you clarify why you give me this advice. By fresh, do you mean naive?

Annie - I just watched The Enchanted Piano; it's splendid (in all aspects.) It's just quality of short film I like to include on my little cable tv show - the NorWest Indie Filmmaker's Showcase. Excellent work - let me know if you want me to run it. I'll look at the others later - gotta rush now. Thanx.
Doug, thank you for your appreciation. By all means, run it in your NorthWest Indie Filmmaker's Showcase.
So Rick What do you think of Annie's film?
