About two months ago I found myself with six excellent projects in my pipeline. What I quickly learned was that each one required 100% of my attention. I tried to juggle it all and saw I was mucking up what I had worked so hard to create. Fortunately, I had the chance, right then, to sit down with a business consultant who, after an hour of questions, said, "Okay Leo, here's what you do. Prioritise your projects using a simple criterion, i.e. base your priorities on which project will most likely bring in money the fastest. I was stunned. I had never looked at it that way. I know, I know: pretty elementary. So I pulled one of the six and placed it at the top of my list and everything changed. Everything fill into place.
That's sound advice Leo. Easy to get caught up in the creative energy and lose sight of the practical point of view. Right now I'm dividing my work into passion projects (that may yield awards) and commercial projects (that will reward financially).
