M or F? is a hilarious 2 Act play that takes on the classic Cyrano de Bergerac story, but set in High School and using modern technology. Frannie, the somewhat shy retro-fashionista of her freshman clique, has developed a serious crush on Jeffrey. Only problem is that Jeffrey is a Junior who spends most of his time advocating for any cause that makes the world a better place, and Frannie doesn’t have the courage to talk to him. Enter Marcus, Frannie’s gay best friend and “brain twin”. Instead of just silently stalking Jeffrey in the school’s chatroom, Marcus takes control and becomes Frannie behind the screen. Success! Jeffrey starts falling for Frannie... and Marcus starts falling for Jeffrey. M or F? is about mistaken identities, inaccurate assumptions, and filled with plot twists that will keep everyone guessing who is really who until the very end. This emotionally sensitive comedy about high school relationships will leave the audience with a smile on their face and a tear in their eye.
