Introduce Yourself : Can anyone help me? by Abel Gonzales

Hi everyone I have a passion for film making but the ironic thing is that I've never made one yet. Im 55 years old and all I've ever wanted to do is work in the film industry.  I cant afford to go to film school and I've never made a film yet because I don't know any other people who I can get together with to brainstorm with. I have a camera to make films with and other film equipment but because I don't have other people to get together with it just sits in the closet. the digital camera I bought cost me $3,000.00 alone. Its a Cannon xf 100. I live in the city of Upland area in southern California. Is there anyone in this group who lives in that city who can help me get started with my first film?. I just need some help getting started to know how the whole process works in order. I'm so frustrated cause I go to work to a job everyday that has nothing to do with what I really love to do and every day that passes is just another wasted day I could have done something making a film of my own or helping someone else make theirs. I also have other personal talents I can contribute too because I can act, sing, compose music and play keyboards so if anyone is looking for any of those skill please reply so we can meet and talk about making a  film together. I have past experience helping others make films but nothing ever came out of those contacts so I'm still at square one with no film projects  of my own in production and no contacts to work with.
