I'm a first-time writer/producer who took the leap to finally make my short film last year called Hearts Want. It was born out of a reading of my feature film script and the two lead actors from the reading reprised their roles. I assembled a crew of Minnesota-based talents, including a director to collaborate with, all while juggling my day job. Miraculously we're able to finish shooting & editing our 15-minute indie romance within 8 months, just in time to submit to Twin Cities Film Fest (TCFF) where we won the Audience Award. I'm currently submitting Hearts Want to various film festivals with the hope of getting closer to making the full-length version of it. Check out the teaser of my film below.
