Author and screenwriter (even songwriter) in the Dallas-area afflicted with the constant need to tell a story. Not just any story but a story that makes you pay attention. A story that makes you care. A story where you actually have to follow the author because the ending is not the predictable Hollywood happily ever after ending. Many of you have the same qualities.
As far as being terminal, we all are. Each day we come closer to the day we will die so tell your story. Tell the people you love and those that love you how much they mean to you. Five, ten or twenty years is a short time to give our stories a voice. Write daily.
Granted "The Money Island" and its sequel is a big budget project so on the advice of those in the business, I am writing smaller budgeted screenplays now. If you are reading the still, I want to connect as you have shown to care about others and not your own projects.
