Rosalind Winton - Literary Editor

Hi Everyone, I love these introduce yourself weekends and I am introducing myself again :)

As well as being the Official Editor for Stage 32, I run my own Literary Editing business, One Voice Literary Agency.

I hail from South West Hertfordshire, which is just north of London in England. Since starting the business, I have edited everything from full length novels, children's YA and picture books, non fiction, articles, blogs, business reports and more. I also edit screenplays and scripts for members of Stage 32, one script I edited received full marks on all counts from the author's pitch with a request to see the script.

I am Features Editor for a new, free, quarterly, online magazine called Fringe, which centres around creativity and the arts. It's upbeat and positive with great articles and interviews and since its launch just before Christmas 2017, the magazine has received great feedback.

I am in the final stages of producing a poetry anthology called Poetic Wonders, that has been in the making for a few years. This is a very exciting project that includes my poems, plus the poems of five other very talented authors. It also includes an amazing foreword by Enoch Anderson, Barry Manilow's lyricist. Enoch's endorsement means so much. I am just waiting for some illustrations to be completed and then I will be able to announce a publication date.

I have successfully edited, produced and voice recorded a short story, written in rhyme called The Bear On Lonely Lake by Daniel Buckner. The story has been included in Poetic Wonders.

I really love what I do and I can help with all aspects of getting a piece of work to a high standard, while maintaining the integrity of the work, while keeping the author's 'voice' throughout.

Rosalind, You do a wonderful job as the official editor here and did a great job with my BLOG almost two years ago! Looking forward to seeing what you do with the next one! Also, I miss my time in London - my family lived in St. John's Wood back in the late eighties. Have to get back there. When I was young, I remember watching on the "tele" all the people gathering at the Odeon in Leceister Square for The Living Daylights premiere! Next day I took the tube to the very same theater and went to an 11:00 a.m. screening and bought this special anniversary Bond book. (Still have a copy of this to this day.) Miss the Bangers and Mashed! Great to see you "re-introducing" yourself! GOD BLESS and STAY FRESH! ;)

Oh wow, thank you Sam. Yes, I know St John's Wood, and I was near Leceister Square on Tuesday just gone, I went to the Vaudeville Theatre in Covent Garden to see Andrew Lloyd Webber doing a talk. I worked in Covent Garden for a number of years and I absolutely love the West End. I love bangers and mash as well :).
