Is the subtitle of the brand-new collection of original short fiction, entitled "SOME CAREERS ARE NOISIER THAN OTHERS", available for the first time ever on Amazon.com and in selected bookstores. I've posted on film-related topics at Stage32, but this is a book I edited, and yes, the similarity of names is no coincidence - the brilliant author in question is my mom!

There is a film connection, of course, in that I once adapted and directed one of these stories, entitled "The Perfect Robot Baby", into a half-hour TV episode for a local public-access series, with friends of mine playing two out of three major roles. These stories range from fantastic dreamscapes to funny family hijinks to dark obsessions to... well, that would be telling.
