Hi, I’m not that new here, but haven’t taken advantage of this site for quite sometime. Just to introduce myself, my name is Jaime Torres, I am a cinematographer, writer and director with over seven years of experience in the industry. I have been doing freelancing for over five years, and on the side, my passion in directing has taken a turn when I have received several awards at the Los Angeles International Film Festival, and among others. Throughout my career, I have shot various shorts, commercials, narrative features, and documentaries, including shooting for several segments for PBS SoCal. I also had won several awards as a Director of Photography. Overall, my main goal is to network, and also provide social awareness within the film medium, and push any boundaries if necessary, in order to enhance creativity, and growth.
