Hi guys!
I'm a Finnish born screenwriter, represented by an entertainment attorney in Los Angeles. Three of my movie scripts have been optioned so far, one of them director Marcus Nispel's (Pathfinder, Conan) maritime thriller, Stowaway, to be lensed in Australia. Sci-fi, horror and history (real and alternate) are my fortes.
I have currently two different types of historical tv series in development (the first one is based on a medieval campaign, the second one is Victorian Gothic horror) and I'm actively searching for a bona fide producer, production company or a network with a proven track record.
Have finished pitch packages for both of the afore mentioned tv series projects. Feel free to PM or contact me via juhani.nurmi@kotiportti.fi if you wish to know more. I submit very quickly.
I wish a chillaxing weekend to all members of Stage 32 -- and to those of you (like me), who will be working and writing this weekend, I wish lots 'n' loads of inspiration! :-)
Cordial regards from Helsinki, Finland --
Juhani

Hey guys... Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. We begin principal photography on my new film, The Stand at Paxton County this coming Monday up in Petaluma California. The company that is producing is ESX over at Warners. "ESX Productions in association with Warner Brothers Studios will begin shooting director Brett Hedlund and screenwriter David M. O'Neill's - The Stand at Paxton County." I have another film I've written called War Junkies and it's in active development with "Crash" and "Gods and Monsters" veteran producer, Mark Harris. We have just secured an Academy Award winning German director on the project named Jochen Freedank. Please feel free to stop by www.DavidMONeill.net, take a look and say hello! Thx - Dave

Welcome Juhani! Congrats on your successes so far!
Why did you choose to have an entertainment attorney represent you instead of an agent or manager?
Daniel, it has served me absolutely fine so far, although a lot of the "heavy lifting" is still on me.
