Sex♀︎50

What's happened to the erotic lives of women over the age of 50? Does answering this question potentially hold a key to a global shift in consciousness?

We are in pre-production on a feature-length documentary film "Sex♀︎50." The film examines a question that is triggering for most women. "What happens to my ability to express myself sexually as I age?"

2019 marks the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock. We look back on the iconic images with famed photographer Baron Wolman, who documented the tectonic cultural shift of the 60’s—Woodstock; The Summer of Love. Those women, so evocatively portrayed in the photos from that era, are now in their 60’s, 70’s, even 80’s. How did they live the sexual revolution they pioneered as they aged?

I’m into the 60’s/70s era and throw vintage parties because 90s/Noughties seemed pretty magnolia but there were many facets to 60s apart from Woodstock. Regarding question about women’s self sexual portrayal at a certain age, I think portrayal is a frame of mind, not a number on calendar. A drip will always be a drip, a bore always a bore and a siren always a siren. Look forward to seeing your film.
