Looking for recommendations on TV shows with comedy/drama that is tonally similar to Dear White People (with or without satire, sociopolitical message, etc. -- focusing on the subtle tone of the comedy vs typical sitcom style).
Anybody seen anything they especially love? Films could work also, but TV preferred.
I don't watch it, but a few friends love The Grinder on Netflix.
