Bringing my blog to Stage 32

Dear Friends,

After a serious on-set injury that left me disabled and wondering how long I was going to be around, I wound up writing down everything I've learned in showbusiness over a 25 year career in the theater, 10 years spent in the trenches of independent film finance as a development executive, and over my career as an entrepreneur and filmmaker in Hollywood myself. In the end, I wrote about 200 articles in my effort to make sure I didn't just let that experience fade away... on subjects ranging from screenwriting to finding film investors, to post production, to using the festivals effectively.

Now that I'm back on my feet and my career is starting to really take off, I was thinking that it might make sense to rework those articles and bring them over to Stage 32. If I did, what format would people like to see them in? Should I post them all in the "Your Stage" lounge? Should I drop them each into the appropriate lounge, number them so folks can see where they go, and keep a table of contents somewhere on the site?

Please, let me know what you think. At some point, I should really just work it all up as a book... but for me, it's more natural to write essays. If you want to give feedback on the material itself, let me know in the comments and I'll post a link. For now, I'll just leave this question here - because I don't want this to be spam or a plug for what I've already done. I legitimately would like to know whether and how to move all that information onto Stage 32.

I would preferr a table of content, so I can browse through them. For me the part of finding film investors is interesting, but more articles could be too.

You might want to reach out to the S32 team... they are looking for new blog content and might be interested in posting in bite-sized chunks.

What Dan said, you could try smashwords. It's free and it can earn you money.

I think it would be great if you had a website, on something like wordpress, because it's easy to search. If you decide to duplicate certain content here, great, but it would be nice if it were all traceable on one location.

If someone is interested in one of your posts, they might benefit from others. You might consider putting it in book form too. I think as a book, you'll get more exposure. Try contacting publishers first, and then perhaps blogging excerpts.
