Introduce Yourself : Mohamed Yehia by Mohamed Yehia

Hello, everybody

   I am Mohamed Yehia from Alexandria, Egypt.  I was born on August 4, 1995, that means I am 23 years old. I have had a vested interest in film directing since I was a child. In 2018, I have got a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Alexandria University, Egypt.

   At the end of 2015, through my third academic year, I have revived my compelling passion for film directing and figured out my priorities in life. While completing my study in Civil Engineering, I have started to learn filmmaking in a non-academic way. The nonfree and free online courses, Youtube tutorials, filmmaking blogs, websites, forums, books and workshops learn me about all the creative and technical fields of the film industry:-

screenwriting/cinematography/Film Directing/Film Acting/Film Production/Film Editing/Storyboarding/Pitching/Stunts coordination/practical and visual effects/Sound design/CGI/coloring/ Film distribution and promotion....etc.

Furthermore, I always seek to refine my vision by watching and analyzing movies and reading scripts, gain work experience by working on a film crew and build a professional network. In 2018, I volunteered as a first assistant director for a short film which has not yet been officially released.

At the beginning of 2017, I released my first short film "Subconscious" which participated in"MDB Film Festival” and was officially selected as one of the best ten narrative student short films. 

My work experience is very low and much lower than my Knowledge. My current main goal is to catapult it forward as I seek to apply Hollywood steps of filmmaking even on "NO Budget Films"
