Getting emotional in fiction reading

Question to fellow writers.

Is it common when editing or proofing one's own work to tear up or cry during a moving scene?

Bill Costantini

Well...unless you're a cold/insensitive type who never tears up or cries...it should be common. If it doesn't move you, do you think it's going to move a producer who has probably heard a hundred pitches or who has read through dozens of scripts in the last week?

Best fortunes in your creative endeavors, Troy!
