Your Stage : Animate My Radio Show? by Karl Gerber

Animate My Radio Show?

I've written and broadcast 47 episodes on a commercial radio station. I own the content. It has been suggested I hook up with an animator and try to get this series animated. Some people have claimed this could be the next South Park.

It's sketch comedy of the outlandish and often alternative variety. We cover ever growing berber toupees that are actually nylon, the world's most important sanitary napkin database including its ability to stop world conflict. There are all sorts of odd characters like those who scavenger civet excrement for coffee beans, the man who made his fortune when his penis was infringed, an imposter, an incompetent lawyer whose office is in back of a nuru massage clinic (incidentally he uses the chair the famous nuru nurse used when she conceived with the penis man a woman who died of workplace boredom).

The dialogues are 48 minutes per episode. We range 5,800-6,000 scripted words per episode. Some of it is legal and would be cut if this turned into pure comedy.

A lot of people in the business have approached me about what to do with these scripts. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have 6 more episodes under my current contract with the radio station.

Here are a couple of links to recent shows. PS if anybody wants to voice act in the show send me a line: Many of the voice actors who have appeared are animation voices.

Hi, Karl. Perhaps also place on the Jobs board found in the upper menu bar. That's where members post various "want ads" or searches for creative partners, paid or not paid. ;) Hope that helps!
