For as long as I can remember I've wanted to be involved in the movie making process. Just recently decided to get some of my ideas down on paper.
I actually just submitted my first TV Pilot to PAGE and LAUNCHPAD and discovered this awesome community. Looking forward to making some connections and learning a lot.
I've been devouring lots of books on screenwriting, listening to a ton of podcasts, and reading screenplays like it's my JOB.
I have been a copywriter for over 10 years and am finding many similarities between the two worlds, but know I still have much to learn and am still trying to find my voice.
I'm particularly interested in writing ACTION, THRILLER, and HORROR

Welcome Evan! Wonderful to have you :) I used to be a junior copywriter and for me the greatest challenge was to be able to read properly again and adjust to speed reading after diligent letter by letter copy checking. Was this ever an issue for you? I would be so happy to learn much more from your good self.
