Manuscript swap from a WGA writer!

Hi everyone. I have been a working, paid screenwriter for 25 years and just wrote my first novel. I just finished and need some feedback from someone that doesn't know me but is well-read and hypercritical. It is a quick read, 300 pages with short paragraphs, a lot of dialogue and white on the page.

In return, I would gladly read your manuscript and respond in kind, or a screenplay or two of yours, which I am much more conversant in.

If you are just interested in reading and giving a critical review of a serious but fun and eventful novel, about a singer-songwriter with a severe performance anxiety disorder who gets deeply involved in what may or may not be a catfishing scheme, let me know here and how I may contact you.

Gino DeMarco

Hi Pete. How fast do you need a turnaround? I'm pretty well read, have been accused of being hypercritical, and give pretty good notes. But it might take me a couple of weeks to get through your novel given other commitments I've got right now. You can email me at gino@okdemarco.com.

That sounds interesting

Picking apart someones writing is easy. It's finding someone to be honest with you that's the trick. lol. Yeah, 300 pages is a lot of time. But it wont take long to see your level of craft. I got time to read the first 20 or so pages if it's not too painful. How polished is it?

Pete Rosen

Thanks everyone. I have found a few good takers. Appreciate the offers.
