Cheers for asking, Paul. Been doing some Stage 32 competitions. Quarterfinalist, Semifinalist ... maybe also Finalist and Winner one day. You tend to get more and more peckish for a major win all the time.
Hi Paul thanks for asking, I've pumped out two feature length screenplays, and one short over the last four weeks and now just taking a break from it and working on getting the loglines perfected,
Paul, I'm still plugging away despite all the other things going on in my life at the present time (in addition to factory work)...a needed car repair, the health concerns of a sixtysomething, etc., etc.
I'm 19 pages away from completely revamping a 1984 script of mine called "Tin Mine," where, in 1939 New York City, a song plugger and a radio organist seek to open up their music careers by becoming composers. And I'm 21 pages away from getting the revamping done on the last thing I wrote in the Twentieth Century: 1994's "Fine Tooth Comb," about a Davenport, IA teen who, inspired by a videotape, forms her own band to play at the local Dixieland jamboree, the Bix Beiderbecke Jazz Festival. (I'm leaving that one in the 1990s rather than trying to move it into the 2010s-2020s.)
As long as I can get both of them done by the end of this month, one of them will (hopefully) become an entry in Script Pipeline's newly-announced screenwriting/TV writing contest. (And they'll both go up here on Stage 32 soon as possible!)
Still working on the brand-new contemporary college comedy "Pixie Dust" and a 1990 offering called "Yes, Indeed!" In the latter one, which I'm leaving in the 1989-90 period, two ex-child TV stars of the 1970s who are tired of being out of work jump in on the late-1980s swing-music revival by forming their own big band.
I'm doing okay, just lacking sleep :/ But such is the path to survive along this journey, right?
As far as writing goes, pretty well I must say. Trying to get my second script ready to be my debut as a writer, and I'm 70 pages in on my third script -- a horror. Also got some ideas ready to jump on for other scripts soon as I'm finished this current one.
Growing, learning, and growing some more. Enjoying the journey, my friend.

Doing proper good, thanks Paul. Setting things up for a major rewrite on my sitcom idea after receiving some enlightening notes. How about yourself?

Adam - nice! good luck! splitting time between developing a new script, revising an old one, giving notes, and reading scripts
