Hey Kitty Kats:
Beware! If something smells like a scam, it probably is a scam. I was just in contact with Antoine Fuqua's representative at CAA and Mister Fuqua, nor his film company is running a grant for filmmakers. They have a phony website https://antoinefuquafilms.com/grant-contest and are sending out emails to supposed winners. The tip off is under requirements they're asking for a 200 donation from recipients of the grant. This is another bullshit attempt to play on the wants and aspirations of screenwriters.

This scam is making the rounds. Thanks for the post, Phil.
Thanks for the red flag.
They almost got me. And I was so excited to "win". What a joke. When I emailed their rep that the whole thing seemed sketchy because of the mandatory "donation" to charity, she agreed but she's just "following orders" or words to that effect.
You win but you need to pay 200 bucks, are we that stupid!
$200 bucks is chump change. Master grifters come at you with hugs and kisses.
Here's some smart people scammed for thousands...
