I'm a videographer and cinematographer. I'm saying hello to all you out there on
Stage 32 from Washington DC. I'm only working on freelance projects which keeps my skills sharp, but my dreams and aspirations are to make a feature film. I have a story and am working up to the point where I'll be able to launch a Kickstarter campaign to make it happen. Soon! In the next year. That's my goal! Thanks, and now I will begin to spend a lot more time here now that I'm focusing.
Fantastic, Frank. If I can make a suggestion, take some time to learn about crowdsourcing. Every successful crowdfunding campaign begins with crowdsourcing and I recommend to get started with sourcing your crowd 6 months before launching your crowdfunding campaign. I was asked to write a book on this subject by Focal/Routledge and the American Film Market. It's earned over 100 5-star reviews across all platforms. You can get the audiobook for free from Audible here:

And if you'd like the paperback, it's available on Amazon here:

Wishing you all the luck with putting the film together!
Cheers.

Excellent. Thank you for the GREAT information about crowdsourcing which was a question I've been pondering - not knowing what it was compared to crowdfunding.
You've got it, my friend. Happy to help!
