This is to all the actors/actresses that are new in this business/on Stage 32 (as well as directors). For my last short film "film d´auteur" I cast a theatre actress for the role of the protagonist. That was kinda risky, but it worked perfectly fine in the end.
As the video I posted before, we shot a little interview with her, in which she is talking about her experience of being a theatre actress taking over a role in a film. She gives some insights into the differences between stage and film acting. At the end she also reaches out for every girl and woman out there, believing in a world of equality.
I hope it´s interesting for you lovely people. The video is in German, but we put a lot of effort into the making of English subtitles - so just select them in the video.
