Acting : Actors don't WORK their projects?! by Stephen Foster

Actors don't WORK their projects?!

I remember the director of Hidden Hills saying to me, "Actors don't promote their films!" and I thought he was full of crap! But as I forged my way through the film festival maze, I realized he was RIGHT. Actors get cast in projects (and some even get completed!) but when it comes to telling the world about it, they fall short. I promised myself that I would NOT be that kind of actor! If I worked hard to book a role, create a character, I owe it to MYSELF to promote that film! To me, it's more valuable than constantly auditioning.

agree. But sometimes it is hard to find the best way to do not without being annoying
