I remember the director of Hidden Hills saying to me, "Actors don't promote their films!" and I thought he was full of crap! But as I forged my way through the film festival maze, I realized he was RIGHT. Actors get cast in projects (and some even get completed!) but when it comes to telling the world about it, they fall short. I promised myself that I would NOT be that kind of actor! If I worked hard to book a role, create a character, I owe it to MYSELF to promote that film! To me, it's more valuable than constantly auditioning.
