Introduce Yourself : A Great Place for Arists by William Jeffery

Well, I'm a freelance screenwriter. Been working at it for about 15 years now. I've been pretty fortunate with getting shorts and films produced based on my script. I've has shorts play at the famed TCL Chinese Theater and at SD ComicCon. A short I wrote was specifically judged by Richard Linklater to win 3rd place at Houston's Cinespace Short Contest. I don't usually like tooting my own horn, but this is the place to do it, so I've also won many awards for my writing. A few years back I won 2nd place here at Stage32's Search For New Blood Horror Writing Contest, which got me a meeting with the Safran Company (The Conjuring films). They were deciding to greenlight my script or another and at the last moment they chose the other (Happy Death Day). I still enter contests here from time-to-time and usually reach the finals.
