Hi Don. Yes, I do think it can be useful, especially if you want to have a portfolio of your work. Since you own your website, you can brand it however you want and have full control over its content. You can also drive traffic to any of your projects that might be for sale. For example, my acting/writing website (williamjosephhill.com) and my production company website (fourscorpio.com) direct traffic to our YouTube channel and also my sci-fi novel CYBER FIGHTER for sale on Amazon.
