Long Time Stage 32 Membere Re-Introducing

Not sure but I think I go back to 2014. It amazes me how much Stage 32 has grown since then to become a powerful contributor and networking source for the entertainment industry. The founder, RB and his associates have a genuine desire to help us creatives achieve our dreams. If you are new, welcome. You found your home. When 'the plague' is close to over, I look forward to the local in-person Stage 32 meets here in L.A. FYI my career for the studios was in marketing, both TV and film. Always a good idea to know your target market before you write your script, Multiple-genre is the script du jour these days so likely you will have multiple targets. That's what Disney drilled into me when I was in marketing there. I realize now what a luxury it was to have such deep pockets when launching a marketing campaign. FYI you can do a tease one sheet / poster for much less now. Some producers like that. Sort of like an elevator pitch visual. Happy Fathers Day! -- Paul

Hey, Paul Norman Rich! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage32. Nice to meet you! Aww, thank you for your kind words! I'm sure Richard "RB" Botto would appreciate it, too. Is there something you're working on right now that we can help with?

Umm, I am fascinated by this elevator pitch visual! Would you be willing to continue this conversation in the Producing Lounge for more members to participate in? https://www.stage32.com/lounge/producing

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect!

Karen, I sent a network request so I can private message you. FYI a "tease poster" or "tease one sheet" refers to artwork / copy where visuals from the actual film are not used and graphic designers must come up with creative solutions to convey the gist of the film. This is where copy (a tag line) comes in which was my purview at Disney and MGM. So I conflated that with "elevator pitch" in that you can convey the essence of what a film is about in 5 seconds. I.E. at Disney, for the movie "Hook" a large bronze-chrome hook was the visual tease art. I forgot the tag line. Message me when you can, -- Paul
