Feedback.

Hello, everyone!

I´m entering my first ever screenwriting competition. The final deadline is June 30th. Given that this is my first screenplay, it´s really not clear to me if it´s any good or not. Would anyone be willing to read the first 15 pages of my screenplay and give me some feedback?

Kreyol WA

Hi fellow Storyteller,

I'd like to read your script if you'd allow me to. I remember when I started writing as well and my fear was, are people gonna like what my stories? So I never got to share them to a community of such, we had no Stage32 back then. But all of my friends and family became my audience, and anyone who let me start talking could never get rid of me. lol

I'm saying you don't need us to tell you if if you're good or not. Writing is like fine wine, it gets better with age. Now I have a novel "WITH' SIN' On amazom.com / my advice, JUST WRITE. I and all of us here are here to support. looking forward to read part of your story. later..

Andy Celis

Kreyol WA It would be an honor to share my script with you. Thank you so much for being so kind and offering to spend your time reading my story.

Could I send it to your email?

William Martell

Why are you entering your first script in a screenwriting contest?

Eoin O'Sullivan

Hi Andrea,

With 8 days to go, if there are any story issues, you have very little time to fix them.

I say wait. Make your screenplay the best it can be, then enter. Happy to read and share thoughts.

Kreyol WA

Yes you can email me at my email, it's my company (KREYOLISM PICTURES LLC) email. I just finished a script titled (Love Is...) and it's 211 pages, I told it someone I went to the L.A film school with and the first thing out of his mouth was to cut it to 115 or so pages... I asked him, if I told you I gave birth to a child and it weighed 20 pounds, would you tell me to get him liposuction or cut his legs? are you loving kidding me? lol To Eoin, and to encourage Andrea, there is no such thing as "Getting your script the best it can be" when you're only trying to find your footing as a writer, you jUST write, and be ready to take whatever criticism as motivation. This is my opinion!

Andy Celis

William Martell Because it´s a highly recognized website and the contest is free. Plus, I would love to get feedback from professionals too.

Andy Celis

Kreyol WA I´m sorry, I can´t seem to find the email address.

Thank you for sharing that, you´re absolutely right! I definitely think I get too caught up in people´s opinions of my work sometimes.

Andy Celis

Eoin O'Sullivan There are definitely things I need to fix but I´ve been working on this script for many months now and I think I can have it done by then. The contest is free and I don´t want to miss out on the opportunity of getting feedback from these professionals.

Thank you, that means a lot! Can I send it to your email?

Nick Assunto - Stage32 Script Services Hello! Right but I don´t think those services are free, haha. And I´m a teenager with no income so... I´m afraid that´s not an option for me.

I just read the part you sent me and I'm left intrigued. You did a good job with the first scene, starting with the inciting incident, followed that with establishing contrast and texture to your muses (Leads flaws and back stories) So far so good. One thing I hope you're doing throughout is, each time you introduce a twist, CONFLICT, CONFLICT, CONFLICT. I am actually proud of you. My first script I wrote in 2002 was a (literary nightmare). It's now selling on Amazon.com I posted the cover on here. check it out. I'll email you more insight tomorrow.

Andy Celis

Kreyol WA Oh wow. That means so much, to me, thank you so, so much! Both for the feedback and for taking the time to read my story!

Dan Guardino

Andrea. If you send it to me right away I can read the first 15 pages but I am bust so please do so asap. My email is danguardino@yahoo.com.
