Great idea! Here are some resources for that as well. Candid.org, Filmdaily.tv, Grantspace.org, NEH.gov, Art.gov, Grants.gov, Documentary.org, Hollywomen.com and Pitchinvestorslive.com . Lastly, signup for my monthly donations for my ebook Funding for Internship and Scholarship Programs.

Mr. Lloyd, I have the opportunity to post duplicate post on a web site where I get paid as much as I want because that is the nature of the web site. As far as Stage 32, Karen, who is the Community Manager at Stage 32, invited me to contribute to a few of the forums. Can you say the same? If you spent less time worrying about what the other members were doing, maybe you would be in a better mood. I will include you on my prayer list.

Tasha Lewis

Mr. Lloyd as much as I like to entertain this type of communication, I wont. I run a business. I don't have the time or desire to spam anyone. Do you work for Stage 32? If the answer is no, then please stop focusing on what I do when I use Stage 32 for business purposes. Thank you in advance. By the way, if you want to work with the projects on Stage 32, I'm hiring on my project page if you need something to do other than trying to read where I post.

Beth Fox Heisinger

Hey, how about you both stop. Tasha, posting self-promoting messages on threads is not appreciated, like "sign up for my monthly donations for my ebook"—? Getting paid for posting urls? Duplicate posts? Nope. That's not "contributing" nor "organic engagement." That's spam/promotion. I will be reviewing...

Beth Fox Heisinger

Damian, please stop "policing" over our members. If you wish to report to S32 about some questionable posting activities by another member then please do so—appropriately—through Contact Us found in the bottom menu bar. Thank you.

Beth Fox Heisinger

Diego, my apologies for this argument hijacking your thread. Hopefully, others will choose to contribute more constructively to your positive challenge. Thank you for posting. Much appreciated. ;)

Tasha Lewis

My apologies Diego for Mr. Lloyd using your post as his opportunity to vent. I thought I had addressed this several months ago when I reported this to Jason M. However, Mr. Lloyd decided to resume this.

Tasha Lewis

Beth, I will send you a private message which is what I would have done with Mr. Lloyd but since he ignored the previous request, I preferred communicating with him publicly.

John Ellis

Damian Lloyd, Karen E. Ross is who you'd reach out to - I've done if a few times with the "financiers" that occasionally show up.

Diego Cantu

Karen is interviewing me tomorrow, I'll bring it up...

Tasha Lewis

I sent a note to Jason M. as I did 4 months ago. I believe he responded to Mr. Lloyd that's why I was surprised by his comments to me. Beth, I believe everyone on Stage 32 is promoting themselves, others and encouraging each other.

Diego, we're a new company so we're in development with two features now, after corona sidelined our mini-series.

That "said", I should have some shots with crew from the promo we did for the mini-series on my old computer. I'm not an avid social media user but I'll try to remember to pull the files off and put one up later... if that kind of thing is good enough?

Hopefully your thread gets back on track...

Karen "Kay" Ross

First of all, thank you Diego Cantu for bringing up this #SavetheArts campaign to our attention! I just saw Jonathan Frakes's post on Twitter, so it looks like it's in full swing! Do you know what the next step is in the campaign? I'm from DC, so I know that hashtags, like petitions, are only the first step.

Secondly, thank you Beth Fox Heisinger for being such an excellent moderator! I appreciate you bringing to my attention this confrontation. I would like to confirm that yes, I am the person you should reach out to if you witness any spamming or other online behaviors that Stage32 does not condone, including, but not limited to defamation, offensive language, and/or abuse of any kind:

"(I) You shall at all times act professionally and be courteous to Members and other Users of the Website and shall not use Stage 32®, the Website or any Service provided by the Company to engage in any harassing, abusive, disruptive or offensive behavior, or to post or upload any communication or other Content that contains libelous, slanderous, abusive, defamatory, racist, obscene or offensive language or other material. "

You can follow the link to "Contact Us": https://www.stage32.com/contact

You can also DM me or email me: k.ross@stage32.com

Please include a link to the post you are referencing for a quicker response (you can find the link as part of the SHARE options, next to the HEART option).

Lastly, to the point of spamming and trolling on Stage32. We're all here to bet better at our craft, stay business-savy, and/or explore a new facet (learn) to continue our craft/business. We all know that this industry is based on relationships, so Stage32 is here to foster those relationships. Attacking anyone, even if you have proof of wrongdoing, does not invite collaboration or cooperation. Remember other people are experiencing your conversation, even if they are not participating. Similarly, if you post links to anything, it can be perceived as "spammy" if there isn't enough explanation to give it context, and "spam" discourages readers. If you have a link to something you'd like to promote, like you eBook, you can post it on Your Stage Lounge: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/promotion

Damian Lloyd I've looked through the last three weeks of Tasha Lewis's comments and posts, and I have not seen an exact duplicate of her initial comment from this post. If you have links to these comments where she posted "this exact same comment in every thread", please DM me with the links. While her above comment about her EBook does appear sales-y and out of context, I am not characterizing her as a "spammer" overall because her record over time shows her to be a thoughtful and caring poster. In fact, she often shares personal and professional experiences, far from the behavior of a "spammer". If all she posted was a cut-and-paste sale pitch, then yes, "spammer", absolutely. Yes, in this instance, she could have phrased it better, and you could have handled it better. So let's start again...

Tasha Lewis - could you take a quick minute to explain why you posted those websites and how it was in response to Diego's original post? ***We will strike the "sign up" comment, as we're all agreed that it was not applicable and reads as spammy.

Damian Lloyd Are you prepared to listen to Tasha's response and give her the benefit of the doubt?

Tasha Lewis

Each month since I became a member, RB invited us to contribute based on different themes, As I have said to Mr. Lloyd, I'm a professor, encouraging, sharing and supporting others is what I do. Karen, I also advised him that you suggested I lead a few discussions. I was surprised by his recent post since Jason had handled this 4 months ago. I will continue encouraging, supporting and helping others while I work toward my goals.

Beth Fox Heisinger

I kindly suggest that this discussion be taken elsewhere as it has absolutely nothing to do with Diego's call to the #SaveTheArts challenge nor to the Producing forum. Quite the hijack, no? So I'm happy to move this thread to another section if you would like. Then perhaps, Diego, you may wish to start anew? Re-post? My apologies again.
