Hello Stevie Turner and welcome to the community! We are delighted to have you here. I tend to love adventure/travel books! I'm a big fan of "Beautiful Ruins" by Jess Walter, which primarily takes place in Italy in the 1960s. I also recently read "City of Girls" by Elizabeth Gilbert which dives into the world of theatre and showbusiness in 1940s New York

Dark humor. I write plays and most of them have at least a little humor with an edge to it.

I try to force myself to read Fiction, because I'm always reading so much non-fiction. I can't help it. I just see a non-fiction book and I'm always like, "Ooooo! I always did want to know more about Hand Painted Custom Lettering of the 1920s and 1930s!" An actual book I recently purchased So, Historical Fiction is a great bridge for me. Provides some interesting knowledge while also have a story.

Thanks Tasha. Joshua, I never used to read fiction until I started writing. Now I read as much fiction as I can to learn from other writers. Yevgeniy, I am on holiday with my family at the moment and so do not have much time.
