Hi everybody, thanks to Stage 32 for organising an introduce yourself weekend, nice initiative. I’m not really one for posting so it’s good to have a little push. I’m Ollie, 40 years old from the UK. Currently living in Dubai as a project manager. Previously I worked as a 3D animator in the VFX industry (IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm10245065/). During this time around 3 years ago, I began writing for fun! I fell in love with being the creator of characters and worlds, so now I have 4 complete feature screenplays and many more ideas! I’m currently going through re-writes from coverage notes and have been put through to the quarterfinals of Stage 32 sci fi competition. Glad to have you here Ollie and sometimes we need to push to put ourselves out there to be social, I get it. Our director of script services Jason Mirch actually just came from Dubai where he worked in animation. He was out there for several years before moving back to the states. Congratulations to you for making the QF of the sci-fi competition, I know that the scripts were really great this year.
