Logline:

Newspaper intern has to cross the jungles in search of the flower of life to make it on time to the sacred waterfall before End-of-the-World solar eclipse.

Synopsis/Details:

Ted, the newspaper student/intern accidentally meets the old TIMEKEEPER - the person who controls the time on earth - before the old man dies. Timekeeper transfers his powers to Ted and tells him that his mission is to find and bring the flower of life to the sacred waterfall deep in the stone village hidden somewhere in the Colombian jungles. He embarks on an expedition to the Stone Village deep inside the jungles with his experienced mentor Angela. They arrive in Bogota and reunite with one of Angela's long partners - Gary, the local contact. He is in turn on a run from the local gangster Jose and his counterparts Raul and Pablo.

At the same time, Jose wants to find the lost city and the gold it's keeping for centuries. Pablo, the man with the plan confronts Raul as they follow their boss's orders and flees with his girlfriend Monica. She's Angela's long-estranged half-sister.

Raul deploys the army of scouts and soldiers to hunt Ted and Pablo. At some point Pablo. Monica and Ted's team meet each other in the jungles and they continue the quest together.

On the journey, Ted learns how to use his newly acquired superpowers by entering a the parallel dimension where the old man teaches him wisdom and techniques. The story ends in the Stone Village where they find the hidden underground lake and the waterfall. Ted places the flower in the lake right on time for the end of the world during the solar eclipse blackout. A happy ending to them, and a bad ending to villains.

And the city full of gold.
