Hello and welcome, Sohaila! Wishing you all the best! - That´s one truly beautiful name, by the way!

Hey, Sohaila Lindheim! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage32. Nice to meet you! Congrats on your first feature! Are you making it COVID-friendly, or writing it for a post-COVID future? There was a fantastic blog recently about how to film during COVID I think you might appreciate: https://www.stage32.com/blog/How-to-Film-Safely-During-a-Pandemic

Ooo, Ireland?! I LOVE Ireland (visited the West and North a few years ago, but I still have to adventure through the South and East). Would you be interested in participating in the "Paris, Je T'aime" challenge I posted in the Filmmakers Lounge? It's just a fun way to get to know people through their city:

Actually, I'd love for you to contribute to the Post-Production Lounge as well: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/post_production

Feel free to enjoy my intro blog post on how to engage with the Stage32 Community:

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect!

Hi, I so wish there was a group of investors all on a site that you could access with one click who would eagerly look at your work and finance it. Fact is it takes years of work and networking to build investors and contacts. The average 1m budget has 11 types of funders or investors. No one person will usually cover it all. First you need a good presenter and a proof of concept teaser or short. So sorry to say indies need to spend money before they get money. Then you should attach 2 profile, not necessarily A list with LOI. So then you can google grants and film funds and apply, you can crowdfund, crowdsource on social media, get media exposure on podcasts, shows, media articles, you can directly email exec producers on linked in, Twitter, find like films on IMDb and search their exec producers. You can network at film festivals or on networking zoom meetings in covid times. Win awards for your proof of concept short at prestigious film festivals and you will attract investors who do go to these events to seek out new content. If you attend courses on filmmaking or film related stuff collect the audiences contact details. There are closing fund initiatives like Venice Gap. Everything takes time and masses of effort.
