Issues

Issues is finished and ready for a director. It has been written more than five times and properly set. The characters have their own backstory. The story is better than it was. We have a winner.

Erik A. Jacobson

If it's your first script, put it in a drawer. Start another script. Come back to it in a couple months with a fresh set of eyes.

Karen "Kay" Ross

That's not bad advice, Erik A. Jacobson - I love doing short-form media to help me gain confidence and perspective. Like, I have no interest or inclination to write thrillers/horror, but most of the people I love collaborating with have a pension for it, so stretching into that to help them with their vision helps me, too. Then I come back to my comedy or coming of age and go - I know how to make this better, even if it isn't the same genre.
