What's the best audition experience you'd ever had as an actor? Or as a casting director?

My first ever film audition was for Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius. At the callback for the character of “Chum”, I read my 6 words and did a redirect. Then the director looked at his producer and said “he looks pretty chummy to me.” He then turned to me and said “do you wanna be in this movie?” Of course I said yes and he responded “Ok. You’re in this movie.” I thought “Wow, this is easy.” Little did I know how rare of an experience that was...
Wow, that's an AWESOME experience Matthew Cornwell! Did you both get along that well on set as well? Like did the relationship grow from there?
It was a great experience, but only 1 day on set. Coincidentally, it was the last day of filming and the wrap party was the next night, so I got schmooze with the director a little more there. As an introvert, though, I'm not exactly a people-person, nor do I "develop" relationships the way an extrovert does.
