I hope everyone is finding ways to navigate through these challenging times.
Being in a team creating things is so tricky. Personally I've been using the time to learn new things, editing software, song writing, fiction writing . . thank heavens for the internet!!
I've enjoyed reading the 'hellos' here in the IYW forum. We are creative people and we will think outside the box to keep going. I have great faith.
I feel so lucky to have a film coming out in 2020 to keep my acting work in the frame. The Haunting Of Margam Castle. I wept a bit with joy when I saw the trailer on You Tube. I'm the first scare, the spectre pushing through the wall, the ghostly voice and my character, Catherine the Bride, is featured standing menacingly with a knife.
After waitng years to be in-vision and captured in a trailer, believing it would endorse my abilities to me, this was like three buses arriving at once. . . . in 2020 . . ! Moments like this are like booster shots. I celebrated!
This year I'm focused on building relationships and am taking time to discover more about myself, weeding out any blocks and figuring out exactly what makes me happy and satisfied. It's proving to be very enlightening as well as making me super productive. I highly recommend it.
