CEO at Ballistic Blade Entertainment LLC & Austin Action Fest LLC♦ Actor, Camera Operator, Producer, Screenwriter, Cinematographer, Fight Director, Film Festival Director
Hi. I'm Benjamin N. Redic II aka The Violence Conductor
Updated my reel. Also, in Austin TX, we are producing a slew of action oriented content inexpensively. Fantasy based and post apocalyptic to be specific. I would love to chat about it....
Hey, Benjamin Nathaniel Redic II! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage 32. Nice to meet you! Great reel, sir - LOVE the hand-to-hand work! But I have a soft spot for it as a martial artist ;-) Remember for any links, you can either post them to your profile or post them in the Your Stage Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/promotion) for feedback or promotion.
Who are you looking to connect with? Iām sure youāve already discovered the Acting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting), but I'd LOVE for to post in the Producing Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/producing)- maybe you could talk about what you're doing to prepare for your upcoming shoots?
Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my intro blog post on how to engage with the Stage32 Community:
Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to othersā posts, too! It's the best way to really connect! And, of course, feel free to reach out at any time.
Thanks Adam Ristau really appreciate that. Karen "Kay" Ross Thanks for that information. I will put it to good use. My team functions on both sides of the camera, specifically shooting action oriented projects. More producer/distributor/AE relationships would be very useful to us. :)
Scott Sawitz haha. Thanks. A sales guy once asked what I did for a living and I told him. Then he dubbed me "The Violence Conductor". It definitely sticks in people's minds.
Billy Kwack Well yes. We are raising funds for a Post Apoc project called Swear By the Sword. Assassins, cowboys, etc. intense action. We are doing script revisions putting together financing now. https://www.slated.com/films/197997/
Benjamin Nathaniel Redic II this is super cool! Give your cinematographer some props man, your speed match with the camera movements and angles seamlessly. Not to mention those moves are fully dedicated, meaning you don't hold back which is something I love about action scenes! Really selling it here. Hope to see more from you and your team!
Nice. Very nice. But I think you want to leave your audience wanting more, so cut it in half.. Take the cream of the crop and leave the rest. It's tough to do, I know, but you'll have them begging for more.

Very good demo reel man! You have some serious skills, not to mention taste in background tracks. :)

Again, I know it's tough, but that's what I'd do
